Corso Intermedio is a very interesting class because you’ll learn how to use innovative materials, like stucco and resins, in an unique way to create material effects on both painted and raw wood.
Some pieces of furniture, like kitchens and bathrooms, require this kind of treatment in order to become durable, waterproof and to resist liquids and stains.
In the past there weren’t weatherproof paints and water was a great problem, as long as our ancestors discovered that plaster with casein diluted in ammonia with some oil could make a weatherproof paint. Many old churches’ ceilings are treated with this kind if paint.
In this class you’ll use unique products like plaster, tempera and water based finishing. (Patina Style’s Shop)
I’ll show you how to create stratifications to give deepness to the surfaces. When the moment of the final patina layer will come, you’ll understand how personal this kind class really is and you’ll be able to express your creativity.

Number of students for class: 4 – 6.
This class will take place during a weekend or from Monday to Wednesday, it’ll start on the first day at 10 am and it’ll end on the third day at 4pm. 18 hours of class.
